• HRIS: Organizing and updating employee information using Bamboo, our HRIS system. Pulling reports from Bamboo and tracking employee data
• Policies: Reviewing and advising on HR policies such as parental leave, travel, flexible working, and the employee handbook
• Onboarding: Conducting background screening assessments, ensuring new hire paperwork is completed, liaising with other departments to coordinate IT, conducting first day orientations
• Benefits: Keeping up to date with our international benefit offerings, administering benefits, expanding benefits with an eye for employee engagement and retention
• Legal: Keeping up to date with employment law in relevant jurisdictions, pulling together documents such as employment contracts and termination agreements. Assisting with audits when they happen
• Employee Relations: Responding to employee queries, running performance management and termination processes
• Payroll: Assisting with payroll administration and compensation benchmarking
• Learning and Development: Organising management and general staff trainings in-house and through external providers
• Culture: Working with senior leaders and managers to ensure decisions related to personnel are well thought out, legally compliant and congruent with company culture. Embodying a face paced and high-performance culture
• Organizational Design: Keeping org charts up to date and advising on organizational design decision when necessary. Assisting with transfers between teams, TUPE transfers, and international relocations
• Employee Engagement: Running the employee engagement survey, possibly running pulse surveys and coming up with new ideas to engage and retain employees
• Equity, Diversity and Inclusion: Working with our Head of Philanthropy and Head of Events to create a culture that fosters diversity. May involve running surveys, designing trainings, organising events or auditing processes
