Niki is Non-Executive Chairman of XTX Markets Ltd. She began her career at Security Pacific/Bank of America and went on to work at Merrill Lynch for 14 years where she became Head of EMEA Market Structure. She is now CEO of Market Structure Partners which provides strategic advice on financial markets structure to international trading platforms, clearing houses, technology firms and market participants. Niki also sits on the board of other private and listed companies.

Alex is the Founder and co-CEO of XTX Markets. He started his financial career in equities and subsequently in FX at Deutsche Bank. Most recently, he headed up the market-making team at GSA Capital.

Zar, co-CEO, has over 25 years of experience in the investment banking industry. He started his career at Credit Suisse before joining Deutsche Bank. He became a Partner Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and more recently, Zar was Global Head of FX and then Co-Head of FICC at Deutsche Bank.

Mike is head of the Core Technology team at XTX Markets and has more than 30 years of software/IT experience. He started his career in finance at D. E. Shaw & Co. before moving to KBC Financial Products and then Daiwa Capital Markets where he was Deputy Head of Technology. Prior to joining XTX Markets, Mike was the CTO at Renshaw Bay LLP.

Eric is head of XTX’s Americas business and arrived from Bats Global Markets where he had been General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 2008. Prior to Bats, he served for more than a decade in various roles at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including as Assistant Director with responsibility for oversight of exchange and broker trading systems.

Mike is XTX Markets’ COO and has held a number of senior positions within the firms he has worked at. Most recently he was Co-Head of the Global Prime Brokerage business at Morgan Stanley and latterly, Chief Operating Officer for Listed Derivatives, Futures Execution & Fixed Income at State Street.

James is our CFO and started his career at RBS before moving onto roles at BNP Paribas and Merrill Lynch supporting the global rates and currencies desks in financial planning. Prior to XTX Markets he was European Finance Director at KCG, an independent electronic market-making firm.

Bernie is the Chief Compliance Officer at XTX having joined from Winton Capital where he was Director – Compliance. Previously, he worked at PWC as a Director in the regulatory practice and as a Senior Trading Specialist and Compliance Examiner for the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations. Prior to that he worked as an equities trader at Deutsche Bank for over a decade.

Andrew is Head of Operational Risk at XTX Markets. He started his career in IT at RBS and the Bank of New York before joining Threadneedle Investments where he moved into Risk. Before XTX Markets he was Head of Operational Risk at Close Brothers and is the textbook author for the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) exam ‘Risk in Financial Services’.

Oli is Head of the IT Infrastructure team at XTX Markets. He started his career at the quant hedge fund D. E. Shaw & Co., before heading up IT Infrastructure teams at KBC Financial Products and GSA Capital before joining XTX Markets.
